Almost five years ago, Jeff and Greg Bacheller were asked to start teaching continuing education classes, focusing on various property management-related topics. Early this year, Greg Bacheller taught again, educating many of our industry colleagues and other real estate professionals the fundamentals of the property management business. Other classes that Jeff and Greg lead are an advanced property management class that is geared more towards our colleagues looking to sharpen their skills. They also teach a class that focuses on the hottest topics in our industry, how to keep up with regulatory changes, new legislation, etc. Both Jeff and Greg feel very honored to be able to do this throughout the year and as they help sharpen others’ skill set, while sharpening their own at the same time!
Back on November 22nd, a few of our employees and their friends and family took time out of their Sunday to help out the Denver Rescue Mission with their annual turkey drive, gathering donated turkeys, bags of potatoes, canned veggies, boxed stuffing, fruit, yams, cranberry sauce, and gravy for their Thanksgiving Banquet-in-a-Box! More than 2,500 families received Thanksgiving meals for the holiday, as volunteers collected donations and handed out the boxes to those who need it most in our community.

There, he had a chance to meet different people from all different types and stages of life; the youngest rider he met was 11 years old and the oldest 79, along with many people who were from other states that wanted to be a part of this. He worked side by side with multiple Managing Brokers, Real Estate Agents, Admin Staff, Loan Officers, Home Warranty Company Representatives, as well as their family members. By the end of December, we signed just over 1,300 leases in 2013 and, with a few extra donations that we made throughout the year, we as a company had the privilege of donating $25,000 in 2013 to the Denver Rescue Mission! And what a privilege it was to partner with such a great organization that is meeting such critical needs in our community . . . food, shelter, and clothing.
We as a company had the opportunity to serve the evening meal to over 250 people at the Denver Rescue Mission. But before that, a group of RPM employees and spouses had the privilege of helping to re-stock the shelves with donations of bread, bagels, canned goods, and many other contributions from multiple organizations. Overall, we were astounded and humbled by the level of gratitude shown to us, and were more than willing to show it in return. It was such an incredible experience!
For yet another year, RPM attended The Realtor Rally hosted at the “Wings Over the Rockies” Museum in Lowry. During the event, we had the opportunity to evaluate new technology, listen to some great speakers, and “talk shop” with some of the best in the real estate business.
